The main problem was to do with my weight, I was getting back aches, sore knees, finding it difficult in fitting into my clothes . I was care-free with my eating, never really cared with what went into my body just as long as it tasted good and made me full. I was a sucker for fizzy drinks and lacked discipline in my diet. I was always short of energy, feeling weak and had little confidence in my appearance.Why did you choose LA Strength?I chose LA strength because of the knowledge Coach Leo brings to the table, he has a degree in Sports Science and he is currently has level 1 in strength and conditioning under his repertoire which might not sound like a lot but the years of study and actually working in a gym shows when asking for help. You notice that other personal trainers only have a 6-month course under their belt which doesn’t match up to the years that Leo spent in University learning/working in Australia and New Zealand. I’d rather learn from someone who actually has a degree, showing they actually took the time and effort to learn more about the human body and exercise.How did your coach solve your problem?Coach Leo sat down with me straight away, asked me what my eating habits were like, how much food I was consuming and what my schedule looked like to make a flexible program to work for me. Leo helped me get stronger, lose weight and gain back the confidence I once had. I feel lighter, healthier and certainly much stronger than I once was. Working with Leo for the past couple months was such a great experience, he showed me proper technique and constantly pushed me to go further and is always encouraging. How was your coach's solution unique?The solution to my problems was unique as Leo made it a point to have a routine. That is important as time management isn’t one of my strengths. He gave me a program that fit my schedule and idea of macros and calories that would fit my body type and goals, which included doing a 12 week challenge where I lost 8 kilos and definitely got stronger. Leo worked closely in making sure that I stayed on course to getting to where I wanted to be both mentally and physically. What did you like the most about coach's approach and delivery?What I liked the most about Leo’s approach to training is that he kept me motivated and focused on maintaining and increasing my numbers in the gym. Getting stronger every week, consistently improving on my working weights and getting in to the gym on a regular basis. Doing workouts in a specific manner, creating a routine and learning the proper techniques. How would you summarise your experience as a whole?It was an experience that was definitely eye opening and motivating as it pushed me to train hard which at times put me out of my comfort level but it helped become stronger and feel more confident in myself. Being coached by Leo It is worthwhile and beneficial in living a healthy and balanced lifestyle that would not only keep you strong but ultimately happy at the same time. Would you recommend LA Strength to others? If so who?Without hesitation, I would highly recommend LA Strength to anyone who wants to make a positive change into their lifestyle, no matter your age and fitness level.
